We talk about houses we used to live in. Big, hundred year old maximal Victorian architecture turned ragged and browned. Foundation slipping. Punk is crazy. DIY or happier in some townhouse [condo, someone’s wife, remote tech labor, luxury Japanese dogs] but we were all, and still maybe are, too angry for that, and felt that anger far too early- I am far too sad- I feel resistance cement itself as we get older and older.
